    Hi,

I’m trying out the system and it seems to be working. However after 4 losing bets I got a message that it has reached the daily stop loss so no more tip for today. I’m wondering if the system uses a daily stop loss or it’s a setting issue in the bot, because I can’t remember reading about it on the website or in the sbc magazine.

    Thanks

    Viktor

    Hi Vikor,

Yes, the system uses a daily stop loss. We operate two types of stop loss, the first is a daily loss limit, the second is a trailing stop, that follows profits up, but not down.

It’s usually the trailing stop loss that kicks in first.

The system is still recovering from the COVID outage, so you’ll see the stop-loss message in Excel most days at the moment 🙁

    Cheers

    Thanks Nick,

I see how it works now.

However I’ve got a problem, I noticed that the results are different on the site than on my betfair account. I’m missing a couple of bets, some of them were nice winners. And it looks like the stop loss kicks in later than in the first one or two days. Yesterday (22.06.2020) the system lost around 8 points but for me it was a 23 points loss. I’ve got 5 bets instead of 7, Sir Havelock and Mythical Madness are missing. I didn’t check everything but I found a couple of more on the days before too.

    Cheers

    (I’ve removed your stake sizes)

So, you did receive the tips from us… You might have a problem with Gruss Betting Assistant, and/or your internet connection?

The Gruss tool has several log files available. I would start by closing Gruss/ re-opening.

    One other thing Viktor,

Not sure if this is related, but we have been experiencing some Betfair/Gruss connection issues over the last few days.

If you are using Betfair, you might want to try BetDAQ for a few days – see if it’s more reliable? Just a suggestion.

    Cheers

I got the stoploss kick into day after 4 losers, although the day was in profit. Is that just a standard setting?

    hi

we manage the trailing and standard stop loss algorithms. They’re optimsed over several thousand bets.

current trailing stop kicks in roughly between 15 and 22 points lost. but it does vary. the exact formula is proprietary.

    cheers
