Betting Paused – again

We’re going to pause the betting for the next week or so… The system is still generating excellent simulations (models), but as you can see from recent results, the models are not translating into profits, when it comes to live betting.

So, it’s pretty clear we have either a bug, or a design flaw in the system…

We have a few ideas on where to look. One idea is that it might be related to price movements in the few minutes before the start of each race – when (we think) odds on top 3 runners are now tending to firm up (compress downwards). Our models are trained on BSP, which we have always known is different to the pre-race market prices.

Of course all of this is just theory at the moment, we do know this is a fairly recent issue, the system used to realise the potential of our models fairly reliably, but it seems, not any more!

Hopefully we’ll know more in a week or so..
