Design Change – Models Trained on APRMP

HI All,

Further to our previous post we have now started training our prediction models on the pre-race market prices. Previously the models were trained on the Betfair Starting Prices, which we know differ by as much as 15% (see “APRMP”).

We think this might account for some of the recent poor performance of the system. Our prediction models remain strong, and tell us we should be making money over the long term.

As usual you can follow our progress on the Simulation Chart.

We will monitor the situation for another week or so, before returning to live betting.
