Update on Debugging Progress

HI All,

Further to our message on the 12th July, the system does appear to be doing better, now that we are training our prediction models on the pre-race prices, instead of BSP. You can see how things appear to have improved here: Profits, Live System versus Simulation System

In the background, we’ve been building an improved diagnostics system, that re-applies old prediction models to our historical records. So far, we’ve found 1 significant design issue, that affected system performance on Mondays! (this is related to a process we run on Sundays to update Speed Ratings).

The Diagnostics system will take another week or so to perfect, so until then, we will continue with our “pausing” of live betting.
