v2.15 “Follow us” feature

As promised, a new “follow us” feature has been included in v2.15 of the spreadsheet, which is now available for download.

This will mean fewer tips going forward, until we can find a better way to handle the random results we’re seeing at present. The profits though, should be much improved…

In the spreadsheet, you will find a new option in cell “D21”. If you select “yes”, your spreadsheet will always retrieve tips from us, but will only submit the tips to Gruss when we (at flat-racing.com) are betting. If you select “No”, nothing will change, you will be able to bet on every tip we broadcast, should you choose to do so. The default is “Yes” – but you can change this of course, if you so desire.

We have implemented new “quality” checks on our daily prediction models, as I outlined in the previous post titled “Recent Performance“. When 3 or more of our 6 models are “bad”, we automatically stop betting with our system. You can now follow our “pause” in betting automatically, by selecting “Yes” in cell D21.

Some of the charts on our website have also been updated to show you the effect this change makes to long terms profits…

We’re still looking at the way the system selects prediction models – to see of there is way of improving the model selections at times like these. We also expect, in a week or so, for the system to adapt the recent pattern of results, and return to “Good” models.
